Attorney Robert Streit has over a decade of experience in representing individuals and businesses of all sizes in litigation, disputes, and transactions. His practice focuses on meeting the needs of clients in complex business litigation and disputes, negotiation and drafting of business agreements, employment and labor law litigation, and general civil litigation matters in state and federal courts.

From his firm’s office in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Robert and his team provide clients throughout the state of Florida, New York, and New Jersey with sensible, innovative, and effective legal representation.

Qualifications and Experience

A native of New Jersey, Robert attended the University of Florida, where he graduated from in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall School of Law in 2004. Robert immediately went into private practice, representing businesses and individuals in New York and New Jersey, gaining valuable courtroom and dispute resolution experience right from the outset. Since those early days of his career, Robert has always been dedicated to providing stellar representation to his clients.

In 2008, Robert returned to Florida to plant family and professional roots. He initially worked with several large Florida law firms, handling a wide range of general civil litigation matters, including property, contract, tort, and insurance coverage claims. Now as the founding member of SKS Legal Group, Robert continues his mission of providing excellent representation to clients across Florida.

Robert is a member of the Florida Bar, Broward and Palm Beach County Bar Associations, and the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the federal district courts in the Middle District and Southern District of Florida and New Jersey, and the Florida, New York, and New Jersey state courts.
