Partners with Championship Lineage Unveil New Commercial and Construction Law Firm
MIAMI, November 7, 2018 – Seasoned lawyers, Robert C. Streit and Jordan C. Kay today announced the formation of a new law firm, SKS Legal Group. The South Florida based firm specializes in construction law, commercial and business law, employment and labor law, condominium and homeowner’s association law and civil litigation.
Streit and Kay have more than 25 years of combined experience in litigation and transactional law at reputable firms in New York, New Jersey and South Florida. This dynamic partnership is already delivering positive results and will look to grow side-by-side with its clients by effectively helping them navigate the legal landscape. SKS has offices in both downtown Fort Lauderdale and Miami and is positioned to service clients throughout the South Florida community.

Streit and Kay are not only business partners but also first cousins with a history of successful family enterprises. The “SKS” name comes with an interesting story as Streit and Kay are both second generation descendants of the founders of a horse racing stable known as SKS Stable which owned numerous champion thoroughbred race horses from the late 1970’s through the 1990’s, including Florida Derby Champion and Kentucky Derby favorite, Lord Avie.
According to Kay, it was important for us to keep the legacy alive by carrying over the name and logo to serve as a reminder of our “track” to success in the legal world.
